Dr. Kaplowitz provides consultations for cases that defy easy or standard diagnosis; for questions about psychopharmacology, such as whether medication could be a helpful part of the treatment plan; and whether the current medication regimen could be improved upon to maximize efficacy and minimize side effects. He is often asked to provide a "second opinion" concerning treatment people receive from other psychiatrists.

Naomi Juvera is a Psychology Intern, studying at The College of Mount Saint Vincent. She is pursuing a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology as well as a Women Studies Minor. As a student-athlete, Naomi has discovered the importance of mental health and wishes to merge psychology, sports performance, and wellness in her future career. She is currently participating in research on attachment styles, food and exercise attitudes and behaviors, and sports performance.
